We are a team of highly qualified and experienced doctors of optometry. We look after and care about eyes. We have been providing uncompromised and outstanding eye care in Mississauga since 1994.

We were formerly located in the Square One Shopping Centre for 18 years until relocating two blocks away to 325 Central Parkway West in 2013. We have also been providing services in Brampton since 2004 at our Brampton Eye Care site.

As optometrists we are trained to examine, diagnose and treat most eye diseases and ocular emergencies. We provide unbiased pre-op consultations for laser vision correction and any other eye surgery needs. We are also well experienced in providing follow-up care for those who require any surgical treatments.
We use the latest technology and equipment and take pride in personalized eye care. We strive to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience with all our patients.
The staff at 20/20 Optometry and Brampton Eye Care are well experienced and are available to help select fashionable yet functional eyewear. They can also answer any questions you may have in regards to filling your prescriptions and the various options that are available when ordering your lenses.

Dr. Dhir Chaudhury

Dr. Dhir Chaudhury
B.SC.(H), OD

He is a compassionate and caring optometrist who has vast experience and has been in the eye care field for more than 35 years. After completing his BSc. Honours degree in Optometry in India and 4 years of practice in Kenya, Dr. Chaudhury decided to pursue further education to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from Boston, MA., USA. He has been practicing optometry since 1994 after graduating from New England College of Optometry, Boston.

He is very friendly with children and has a unique way of connecting with them to examine their eyes. He is authorized to prescribe medications and treat eye diseases after completing special courses in treatment and management of ocular diseases.

He has been a member of both the Ontario as well as the Canadian Association of Optometrists since 1994 and is in good standing with the College of Optometrists of Ontario.

I feel very fortunate and honoured to be practicing optometry here in Mississauga, the city were I was born.  I am a graduate of McMaster University, with a Bachelor of Science degree, and also of the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts where I earned my Doctor of Optometry degree in 1996.

I am happy to be a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, and both the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Optometrists.

Ms. Mehvish Sheikh

Optician


Mehvish Sheikh graduated from Seneca College in 2015 with a Diploma in Opticianry. Training under Dr. Chaudhury since 2012 enhanced Mehvish’s knowledge and skills in opticianry, leading her to become a licensed Ontario Registered Optician in 2018.

Mehvish’s core interest and practice lies in helping patients achieve their eye wear goals in Eye Glasses, Sun glasses and Contact Lenses. She finds a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in assisting Dr. Chaudhry’s dispensing practice with a great customer service. She is also trained to perform pretesting, visual fields and retinal imaging. As a believer in healthy vision, Mehvish goes the extra mile in helping patients realize their full visionary potential.
